Nicholas Kmet is a music editor based in New York City. His recent credits include Madame Web (2024), Lisa Frankenstein (2024), They Called Him Mostly Harmless (2024), and Survival of the Thickest (2023). He is a member of the Motion Picture Editors Guild (Local 700), and is professionally represented by Michal Marks (A Muse Management).
Nick is a graduate of New York University’s Screen Scoring program, where he completed both a Master of Music and PhD in Music Composition. His dissertation discusses the role and impact of music editors in contemporary post-production. While at NYU, Nick had the opportunity to work alongside prolific music editors Todd Kasow and Suzana Perić as an assistant, both in the classroom at NYU and professionally on a number of film and television projects.
